These are natural occurring compound that come from the group called the esters. This are derived from glycerol which are fatty acids in the either vegetables or animal fat. They are the ones that are used by the body to store the excess calories that are in the body. The triglycerides that are found in the vegetables have a very low concentration but the ones that are found at the animal fat are saturated.

The type of triglyceride that is found in the animal fat is very dangerous and they have been found to be very dangerous and are the leading cause of conditions like obesity among other medical complications. For example the triglyceride is used in the body to make energy and the cholesterol is used in the body to help in the synthesis of both hormones and also cell in the body.

It is very important that you keep the triglyceride levels at a safe level because if you do not do this then you are putting yourself in danger of getting coronary heart disease among other cardiovascular diseases.
